 Lanark Downtime |

At approx. 11:37 this morning Lanark decided to turn itself off(according to the DC) now this seems bizarre since it has 2 power supplies, one redundant. It was down for a total of 30 minutes.
I am awaiting Rapidswitch's investigation to the cause of this power failure as it seems a bit odd. Will keep you posted.

After everything I have posted about catchalls and the fact that there is no need at all to have one. Today we have had over 200,000 emails sent to one address with the following addresses before the @

1advertising

70advertising
21advertising
32advertising
51advertising
etc............
I have suspended the account so the email queue should die down soon as I cannot delete these emails as there may be legitimate emails in the queue

We had arranged for the datacentre to do some upgrades to the server which have failed for what reason I do not know. We are trying to get the server back up as soon as possible sorry for any inconvenience caused.

Mailscanner on Inverness |

a cPanel update last night has caused MailScanner to fail today on Inverness which resulted in no mail being delivered for a couple of hours. I have reinstalled the cPanel update and fully reinstalled Mailscanner and the two are now working fine. No incoming or outgoing email has been lost and the mail queue is now being processed. Appologies for any email delay today.

I will not be about tomorrow |

Its Lori's funeral tomorrow, one of the biggest I will ever have to attend and it will probably be the most draining mentally. There will be a few hundred people attending and I have been asked to be one of the pall bearers which in itself is daunting for me.
Anyway support might be a bit sparse and Drew will deal with most issues that arise.
